About
NAWA is an intelligence company. We turn social media comments into audience insight, content strategy, and scalable engagement - for creators, agencies, and businesses. English and Arabic native. Built in Dubai. Designed for the world.
Social media communities drive growth for creators, agencies, and brands. But managing thousands of comments across platforms is impossible manually. Traditional tools reply with generic, robotic messages that erode trust.
NAWA exists to solve this: AI that learns how you communicate, understands your audience as distinct segments, tracks global trends before they hit your feed, and tells you exactly what to create and when. Dashboard for teams. API for developers. Intelligence for everyone.
Our Identity
Not "we use AI." Not "AI-powered." Not "with AI features."
AI is our product. AI is our process. AI is how we build, how we hire, how we compete.
Like Google was internet-first - not a company that "also does internet" - NAWA is AI-first. Every feature assumes AI exists. Every workflow is AI-mediated. Every team member is AI-fluent. This isn't a strategy. It's an identity.
Product
100%
Every feature is AI at its core. Classification, replies, audience graph, trend detection, strategy. Remove the AI and the product doesn't exist.
Process
1 builder
This entire codebase - INTEL system, Louvain clustering, Trend Map, AI Assistant, 50+ components - was built by one founder working with Claude.
Economics
88%
SaaS margins only work because of AI efficiency. 3-tier engine: cache hits cost $0.00, pattern match costs $0.02, LLM is the last resort.
Team Model
10x
We don't scale headcount. We scale capability per person. One AI-fluent builder ships what used to take a team of ten.
AI-fluency is not a nice-to-have at NAWA. It's literacy. We hire for it the way Google hired for engineering fundamentals. If you can think with AI, you'll move at a speed you've never experienced.
The Team
We believe the best products come from small, focused teams with high trust and zero politics.
Founder & CEO
Building at the intersection of AI and community. Based in Dubai. Obsessed with giving MENA creators tools that match Silicon Valley quality.
We're looking for builders who want to define the MENA creator economy. Engineers, designers, operators.
Apply to NAWAWho We Look For
Not what's on your CV. Not where you went to school. Not what passport you hold. We look for builders with tenacity, curiosity, and the ability to ship.
We don't pay based on nationality. We pay based on the role and what you bring to it. The Gulf has a problem with this. We won't pretend it doesn't exist. We just won't participate in it.
We don't filter by university. We don't require degrees. Show us a GitHub repo, a side project, a portfolio, a business you started from your bedroom. Proof of work beats proof of education.
You took three years off to raise kids. You left a job to figure out what you actually want. You spent a year learning something new. What matters is what you do next, not what your timeline looks like.
19 and hungry? Great. 45 and reinventing yourself? Great. We care about energy, curiosity, and the ability to ship. Not how many years you've been doing it.
If you've had to fight for every opportunity. If you've built things with no resources. If you've been underestimated your whole career because of where you're from or what you look like. We want to talk to you. That fight is worth more than any resume line.
The best talent in this region is often the most overlooked. We're building a company where that stops.
How We Work
Features can be copied. Technology can be replicated. Culture cannot. These are the operating principles that define how we build, hire, and make decisions. They are not aspirational. They are non-negotiable.
Informed by Google's Project Aristotle, Netflix's Dream Team model, Anthropic's Constitutional AI, and LinkedIn's builder ethos. Adapted for MENA.
Not a feature. An identity.
Every person at NAWA works with AI daily. Not as a novelty - as infrastructure. We expect AI-fluency the way a bank expects financial literacy. If you can't prompt, iterate, and ship with AI, you're missing a fundamental skill.
Look at our pace
We don't talk about shipping. We ship. Full INTEL system in one sprint. 40+ commits in a day. The companies that win aren't the smartest. They're the fastest learners. Speed compounds.
Google Aristotle's #1 finding
You can say 'this is broken' without consequences. The best idea wins, not the loudest voice or the most senior title. We've seen what happens when people are afraid to speak up. It kills companies slowly.
Clarity is kindness
We give feedback directly, frequently, and with care. Not in annual reviews. Daily. If something isn't working, you'll hear about it today. If something is exceptional, you'll hear that too. Clarity over comfort.
Anthropic's Constitutional AI principle
We hire for judgment, not compliance. Rules don't scale. Values do. Being too cautious is as dangerous as being reckless. We trust our people to make good calls, not to follow scripts.
Not a family. A team.
We hire A-players who make each other better. Every person on this team earned their seat. No politics. No spectators. The founder writes code. The designer reviews pull requests. Everyone ships.
We raise the bar
We're based in Dubai but we build to global standards. Arabic-first NLP isn't a feature, it's a worldview. We don't lower expectations because we're in the Middle East. We set the standard others follow.
Fast and organized, not chaotic
We run OKRs, weekly sprints, and structured retrospectives. Every task is tracked, every decision is documented, every sprint ships. Speed without structure is just noise. We're fast because we're organized, not despite it.
Our Method
In 1696, Johann Bernoulli posed a challenge to every mathematician in Europe: what curve between two points lets a ball, acted on only by gravity, arrive in the shortest time? Newton solved it overnight. The answer wasn't a straight line.
It was the Brachistochrone curve - a cycloid that drops deep first, builds momentum, and arrives faster than the direct route. Every time. Watch.
That's how we build. We invest deeply in the problem before we ship. We use AI not as a feature but as infrastructure. We take the path that looks longer but moves faster.
One person + AI. Not the obvious approach. But it arrives first. Every time.
Where It All Meets
Safety without velocity is a country club. Velocity without safety is a pressure cooker. Both without purpose is a mercenary operation. We need all three.
When Values Conflict
Every company has values. Few say which one wins when two collide. We do. Read top to bottom. When in doubt, the higher priority wins.
Creator success comes first. Always.
Build what matters. Cut what doesn't.
Sustainable, not extractive.
Earned, not bought.
This hierarchy is public. We share it with every new hire, every investor, and every partner. If we ever violate it, hold us accountable.
What We Believe
Creators, agencies, and businesses all have the same problem: comments at scale. Nobody has solved it with intelligence. That's our opportunity.
Arabic is not one language. It's a spectrum. English is our default, Arabic is our edge. Native support for both isn't a feature - it's the product.
AI should amplify human connection, not replace it. The best reply is still a human one. But the second-best reply, delivered instantly, beats silence.
Comments are the most undervalued data source in social media. Every other tool ignores them. We built an intelligence engine on them.
Developers deserve the same intelligence. Our API gives agencies and builders the same classification, sentiment, and dialect detection that powers the dashboard.
Small teams with high trust outperform large teams with process. Every time.
Outsmart, don't outspend.
We compete with companies that have 100x our funding. We win by being faster, smarter, and closer to the problem. Zero GPU ownership. Serverless everything. Every dollar goes into product, not infrastructure.
One person + AI.
This entire product was built by one founder working with Claude. Not a team of ten. That's not a limitation. That's the thesis. Capability per person, not headcount.
One More Thing
These principles will evolve as we learn. Some of what we wrote here will look naive in two years. We'd rather update our thinking than defend outdated positions.
If you see something broken in how we work, say so. That's principle number one in action. Culture isn't a document. It's what happens when nobody's watching. And for what it's worth: we know exactly where we're going. We're just not going to tell you yet.
Inspired by Anthropic's Constitutional AI: "Aspects of our current thinking will later look misguided."
What's Playing
Late nights in KSA, Dubai building what MENA creators deserve. The NAWA building soundtrack.
Whether you're a creator looking for smarter tools or a builder looking for a team that ships - we want to hear from you.
